Tina Fitzgerald knows building good relationships takes work. Especially now, in the #MeToo era, it is crucial that people hear more about both healthy and abusive situations in order to learn how to foster strong, positive connections.
To that end, Fitzgerald faced the memories of her rural Louisiana childhood and wrote her first book A Cage for One: Memoir of a Teenage Life. Her powerful new memoir of abuse and redemption will offer hope and inspiration to survivors and others trapped in similar situations.
A Cage for One was successfully crowdfunded through Kickstarter, assembled by Elite Authors, and self-published through Amazon.
Fitzgerald lives with her family in Houston, Texas. She spent nine years in elementary education and is now a proud stay-at-home parent to two amazing children. She enjoys writing, roller-skating, painting, gardening, and touring breweries with her husband.
